2010 Summer Vacation

This summer instead of our usual road trip to Pennsylvania, we put our car on the auto train (which is the only 1 in the USA) in Sanford, Florida and the train took us to Lorton, Virginia. The train was 35 train cars long and it had 160 vehicles and 450 people. Every time the train went over a bridge I was always scared, I thought the bridge would break. We went to dinner at night in the dining car and the food wasn't very bad. The train trip was only over night, so we arrived in Virginia the next day and drove to Pennsylvania.

At our house, we took out the ATVs and rode them on the hills. After a few days we went and bought a 4 wheeler for me. I was so good at it that it felt like I was born to ride but one of our last days there, I was coming down a hill and did not see a hole and I pitched over the front of the 4 wheeler and it rolled onto me. I was so lucky because I only burnt my hands and because I was wearing my chest plate, I did not break anything.

We went to Splash Lagoon and it had this really cool water slide that flushed you into a tube at 40 miles per hour. We saw Lake Erie and went to the Pittsburgh Zoo where we saw a polar bear and piranhas. Downtown Pittsburgh we saw people waiting at the stadium to watch the Pittsburgh Pirates play baseball. We went to Hershey Pennsylvania and went to Hershey Park. I rode every fast roller coaster that I was big enough to go on and there was a ball throwing game that I won a giant stuffed dog.

We spent almost 4 weeks in Pa and then took the train back to Florida. We went to Ripley's Believe It or Not and Wonder Works in Orlando before we drove back to Coral Springs. I played video games with my friends and rode my scooter around the neighborhood.

I had a really good summer vacation and can not wait to get back on my 4 wheeler next summer.
